While our calfskins may look the same as many of the calfskin hides you see nationwide, you will really start to see the difference in the quality of your calfskin over time. The differences in the choice of calfskin are A or B grade hides, improperly tanned hides, or hides that have not been tanned long enough. All of these can lead to problems such as feather stiffness, shedding, curling and inconsistent shine.
We do not sell products that we think are wrong or problematic to a customer trying to beautify their home or office.
When we select our hides for tanning, we select from thousands of piles of hides to remove only 10-15% of the skins. So we check the test results over and over again and use quality management steps. We believe in full transparency from the moment you arrive on our site, so we let you know exactly which hide you will receive, where the hide is from, and offer you the authenticity and quality of your new calf hide.
